Booking an Appointment
Appointments can be made by telephone, Tel No. 44 (0) 1624 823243, via patient access, by using the NHS app or in person at the reception desk during working hours. If you have an acute medical issue and feel the need to be seen before the next routine appointment, please call any weekday at 8am and let the receptionists know that your need is urgent. We will always do our best to help however you may not be able to see the doctor of your choice or you may have to wait until the next day, depending on demand.
The Doctors are usually happy to assess by Telephone and are flexible in providing extra appointments when necessary.
Chaperones
If you need to have an intimate examination, the doctor or nurse will always ask if you wish to have someone sitting discretely elsewhere in the room. Please ask if you wish to have a member of our reception staff or a nurse present at any time during any consultation. We are quite happy to provide this service.
Blood Clinics
We run a blood clinic from 8.30am to 10.30am every morning for all our patients aged 16 or over. Children must attend Noble’s blood clinic. You must bring any paperwork for the blood tests with you to the appointment if they have been supplied by another consultant. If you do not bring the forms, the nurse will not be able to take the blood sample.
Physiotherapy
We have First contact Practitioners working in the Practice once a week. If you feel you would benefit from a physiotherapy consultation, please ask our admin team – there may be no need to see a GP first
Home Visits
If you are too ill to come to the surgery a doctor may visit you at home. Please ring the surgery before 11.00 a.m. A doctor will usually call you first to make sure they have all the relevant information prior to visiting. The GP will usually visit you during the course of the lunch break.
